Vistaprint continues it’s growth

Vistaprint is one of the world’s largest digital printers and this growth is continuing to be strong. They have just released they Q4 results and it shows a strong growth in profit. This strong growth in profit is partially driven by the restructuring and decentralisation efforts that the company has gone into with their initiatives. Cimpress is the parent company of Vistaprint and they announced in their quarterly report that much of the improvements in earnings came from their strategic initiatives during the year. The initiatives included the integration of their business areas of manufacturing, product and technology teams. They also streamlined their organisational structure which delivered immediate savings to the business.

Looking at the numbers, sales in the quarter has risen by 9%  to a massive $357.1 million dollars. This has seen it’s profit rise by a huge 42.7% to $53.8 million dollars. Most of their profit has come from a growth in their sales numbers however there has been an $11 million expense saving from Vistaprint’s restructuring of the business.

For the full financial year 2018, Vistaprint also recorded a 9% increase in sales to $1.46 billion dollars. Profit for this period was an impressive $241.5 million dollars which was an increase of 44%.

Vistaprint is continuing to experiment with their marketing by including concepts like controlling their future comparison testing.
